DRY system to waterproof terraces and roofs

The DRY  system features two types of membranes:
DRY80 and DRY120 

Each membrane ensures the full waterproofing of various construction elements: terraces, roofs, balconies, courtyards, gravel, with natural or artificial grass, pitched roofs, etc.

DRY80 and DRY120 

PREVENT CRACKING AND DEGRADING FROM MOISTURE ON THE COMPRESSION LAYER AND THE COVERING. As they’re the top layer of the structure, they keep all the underlayer dry, preventing it from degrading, mainly due to the evaporation cycles of deposited moisture.

PREVENT CRACKING AND DEGRADING BY RETRACTION OF CEMENT UNDERLAYERS. A compression layer that has not yet fully set contains a high degree of residual moisture, which during the drying process will trigger a retraction, with the consequent loss of volume.

PREVENT CRACKING AND DEGRADING BY THERMAL EXPANSION OF THE STRUCTURE. Temperature changes directly affect the different underlayers and materials, continuously expanding and retracting. These movements are transmitted directly between the compression layer and the covering.
In both cases, the cover materials are directly affected, with the formation of cracks in the joints and detachment. The DRY80 and DRY120 POOL, membranes, because they’re composed of a double layer of polyolefins, can stop movements between the compression layer and the covering, preventing possible cracks in the joints and the potential detachment of the top covering itself (crack bridging).

vapour compensation of  the structure pressure

DRY120 

Specially designed to drain moisture generated in the underlayers. Can also be installed on structures with residual moisture of up to 5%. The special geotextile on its rear side enables air circulation between the sublayer and the membrane, draining away the water vapour molecules, preventing bubbles and keeping the structure dry.

resistant to alkalis (high pH) and acids (low pH)

Our DRY membranes are totally resistant to alkalis and acids, not degrading over the course of time and thus ensuring perfect watertightness

IMPORTANT

Check with the manufacturer about which cement-based adhesive to use, as not all of them can be used on wet
underlayers.
